flying purple-people eater

So there's this influential authors meme I've seen a few people do now. My turn.

The Rules: Don't take too long to think about it. Fifteen authors (poets included) who have influenced you and will always stick with you. List the first 15 you can recall in no more than 15 minutes, and they don't have to be listed in order of relevance to you.

ALSO also. I'm going to see Deathly Hallows tomorrow at midnight! Nevermind that I haven't seen a Harry Potter movie since the third one; I AM SO EXCITE.

...so, in probably the worst idea I ever had, I decided to use TVtropes.org as a plot generator.  In an even more astonishing develoment, I managed not to get stuck there for the next 24 hours (it took me four days to escape, last time I went on.  I never learn).
I pressed the Random Page button five times and have to use these to build my plot around.
Unfortunately, I didn't realise that a lot of TVtropes is pages for various books/TVshows/video games/anime.

In other news, a local hair salon had this free day where they were training people to do haircuts from some new designer styles.  I have never before done anything with my hair in my life (except for, like, curling and blowdrying it if I needed to dress up for something) and I love my new short hair *bg*.  It's all...short, and floofy, and I can like, shake it around and put wax in it and stuff *seriously in love*.  I was so scared at first to get it cut short, but...*squee*


Also: I hate the world.  tw_bigbang, I so did not need you.  The xf_bigbang is already failing enough.  I'm probably going to end up joinig at the last minute.  Just watch me.
