I also just watched the Doctor Who mid-season finale and would like to echo the thoughts of everyone else ever re: Lesbian Victorian Interspecies Crimefighting spin-off.
Also, I have been praising the arching and plotting of this show since early season five and omg this episode. Shit boy. So awesome, this is how you do a story arch and lay your groundwork and foreshadow. I can only wonder for how long they have known about and planned for this River Song thing. I mean, this episode wasn't perfect by any means, and I'm totally going to have to re-watch the season-thus-far this summer, but still--the story-arching in this show, unf unf.
