ETA: Now I understand why people hate the cut tags.
ETA2: WTF cut tag? I finally had gotten you to work three days ago when I left here, and now I come back and you're broken again.
Title: An Easy Mistake
Fandom: Doctor Who
Rating: G
Characters: OCs, Four, (so slight as to be insignificant) reference to Romana
Summary: Around the campfires, do policemen tell tales of the ghost call box?
Length: 313 words
Notes: This has probably been done before. Just a quick flopsy that resulted from me wondering if anyone had ever mistaken the TARDIS for a real Police call box, back when they still had them. Not betaed. When I wrote this, I could have sworn I had read somewhere that the Police Boxes could be used to temporarily store suspects, but I can't find the reference now. So this might actually be inaccurate.Disclaimer: Oh, please. I haven't even been anywhere near Europe (I wish). I use to fantasize about watching the BBC.
Archive Info: Just let me know.
Feedback: Comments and criticism please!
Police Constable Anderson hated Friday nights. The wet, too, he hated the wet. These together meant that he was not very pleased with the way his beat was going tonight. He shoved the mugger in the police box (had there always been a callbox on Cable Street?), slammed the door and locked it, before taking off down the street after the other chav.
It was a good thing he hadn't stayed any longer or he might have decided that this whole 'police work' thing was too much for him after all.
